Bio

Beginning his comedy career at the age of 19, Corey Monroe quickly became a regular face on stages across the DC, Maryland, and Virginia comedy scene before rising demand for his act found him performing on stages across the country, at world famous comedy clubs such as ACME Comedy Club in Minneapolis, The Comedy Store on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, Gotham Comedy Club in New York, and many places in between.

Drawing much of his material from the insane occurrences of his life, including his eccentric dysfunctional family, his experiences being a unplanned young father, being bad at sex, and calling out a lot of the things in the world that simply don’t make sense to him, Monroe strikes a chord with audiences across many walks of life. His relatable sense of humor has allowed him to share the stage with the likes of Louie Anderson, Christian Finnegan, Kyle Cease, and other national headliners.

A regular at universities across the country, Corey is currently performing as part of the Make Me Laugh Comedy Tour, as well as writing and performing sketches produced for an online sketch comedy series for Dirty Dukes Productions.
